Bacolod Chk-N-Bbq House is the famous home of the original chicken inasal of Bacolod. Other inasal chicken parts such as liver (atay), gizzard (baticolon), ass (isol), wings (pak-pak) and skin are also among the favorites at any of its nine branches. Aside from the top seller chicken inasal other famous Western Visayan favorites, like pancit molo and la paz batchoy, are also available.

Bacolod Chk-N-Bbq House is owned and operated by husband and wife, Paolo Bernabe (son of Atty. Fedor and Paz Bernabe, the Bacolodnon couple known as the first to introduce chicken inasal and other Bacolod specialties in Metro Manila) and Josephine Vergara, a civic oriented, charming Manileña.

COMPANY PROFILE

In August 2004, Mr. Paolo C. Bernabe, a second generation restaurateur from Bacolod City offered to the public the legendary inasal from his hometown by opening the first “Bacolod Chk-N-Bbq House” at the 5th level of Robinsons Metro East, Marcos Highway, Pasig City. The original recipes were passed on from his parents who where one of the first to introduce Chicken Inasal in Metro Manila when they opened their first branch in 1985 at Sucat Parañaque. Chicken inasal is a delicious dish of chicken parts marinated in local herbs and spices, skewered on bamboo sticks then grilled to juicy perfection. Because of the savoring and delightful taste of inasal and other delectable Illonggo dishes, Bacolod Chk-n-Bbq House became a fast growing popular restaurant chain in the Philippines in just a short span of time.

Bacolod Chk-N-Bbq House is a Filipino-themed, middle-priced range casual dining restaurant chain that seeks to become a Filipino restaurant institution known for its tradition of providing a great food experience giving enjoyable and lasting memories to customers. Store concept is inspired by banana leaves and native ingredients. Adding to the cozy and relaxing ambiance is the touch of lavender and yellow color in the furniture.
